Well done mate, do you know what would be a decent bench deadlier squat at a body weight of 78kg? It's hard to compare my self in the gym I go to I dont no any other natty lads apart from 1 lass who trains lol

Thanks Andy. In a siglelift competition with the BDFPA in the u82.5kg open class this is if you are aged 24 to 40 the World and British Qualification Standard is Squats 175kg, Bench Press 120kg, and Deadlift 192.5 and in a powerlifting competition which involves all 3 lifts added together in to a total the Qualification Standard in the u82.5kg open class is 490kg all these are unequipped lifts some of the people who compete in qualifers will lift less than this other will lift quite abit more.

wow a didnt think the numbers would be that high, i dont train for strength but im currently 77kg as of this mo, last weeks lifts were 120kg bench for 6, 5 and then 5, deadlift 160kg for 6 x 3 then 180kg x 1, squat 150kg for 6 sets of 6 but really struggling atm while cutting

Nice lift Felix - as above plenty left in the tank I'd say. You look to take most of the load as a SLDL give or take - would more initial leg dive give you a bigger top end? (I'm not the best at lift analysing BTW!!!)

Thanks Tony that 170kg was my PB at time I managed 177.5kg in the gym a few weeks latter I would like to lift bewteen 180-190 kg when I compete at the same weight next year. An interesting thing is if you look at alot of the big deadlifters on youtube or at a powerlifting show is alot of them are very high up on there lifts allow I still have to work on my form and hopefully get it better but when the weight gets heavy for me my form can be hard to keep.

Being tall doesn't help either - need ot move it further!!

Good target for next year, all the best with it  :)

Decent goals, Felix. I hope you reach them. :)

Being tall is ok...if you've long arms. Being tall with short arms, is not so good!

Thats where I`m lucky my long torso and short legs made me a not very good bodybuilder but make me a decent deadlifter

I have noticed at the powerlifting comps I have went to that the deadlift is the one that quite alot of tall people sime to be good at compared to squats and bench press allow I know there are some tall people good at all 3. I have long arms even for my height so hopefully this will help me abit.
