I didn't see any gear assisted events of the bits I saw from today. Knee wraps for squatting but no suits that I saw.

You probably couldn't see from the stream, but they would have been knee sleeves rather than wraps. Knee wraps aren't allowed in raw lifting (well, not for the GBPF or BDFPA anyway).

Yea sorry, I did mean knee sleeves not wraps, typo on my behalf. The quality of the stream was actually really good and it didn't cut out at all, at least during the times I was watching.

What sort of weight were they lifting? In the raw bench in the u105's if you can remember so specifically?

think stephen manuel dud

300/192.5/315

obviously a three lift comp though so best lifter might not be best bencher

The winner of the 120s benched 230kg, I believe.

No, absolutely. That is amazing. How do people manage that. I was looking at the full power results last night in the BDFPA and the u110 winner lifted a 792.5 total! That Stephen Manuel went over 800! Amazing! Very inspirational.

It seems the strongest in the lifts don't tend to do the single lifts (apart from Alistair Murdoch and others like him). The u100kg brit final bench last year was 185. But in the full power it was a bit higher.

I'm looking forward to getting into full power. And am looking to cut to be a 100kg lifter long term.
