Title: Intra Workout

Is it worth the price of getting an intra workout drink for workouts? I've never used one before but debating trying one this payday to see how it helps my performance and gives me an 'extra' in the gym. They all like quite pricey though.

What're people's experiences?

I have never used one and find my performance is fine although having never used one do not have a comparision so am interested to hear opinions on this

I personally enjoy my Intra, but like you say, they are a bit pricey.
I'm not sure if I can say if I 'feel' them as such, but interestingly enough, on a David Kaye interview I heard, he rated the importance of carbs just before training, and looking at my Intra, it has a decent level in it, so close enough as a comparison.

I drink my Post during my workout so I guess that makes it a Intra-Post Shake  :D

30g Glucose
20g Peptopro (Protein)
5g Creatine
2g Tyrosine
2g electrolyte salts

All bought as individual ingredients and mixed myself, far cheaper in the long run, especially if you buy Glucose in 5kg bags.

Cheers Matt - haven't seen that one before.

Think I'll give it a try with my next order, especially as on a cut sometimes can get fatigued quicker during workouts.
