Bloody hell gents. It's worth being lean then!

My best is 10 without weight. I'm happy at 104kg but I have a long way to go. I reckon I could battle for 15 but ill keep dieting first!

Looks fine to me mate as your elbows were going all the way back at full contraction.

Well done, 18 is huge!

You look very lean too. How come your BF is down so much.

I also purchase Lonsdale pants from Sports Direct! ;-D

Combination of things mate been running and hammering kettlebell classes, compete plating going back to under 90 for strongman, the mrs likes me with abs, had trouble with dizziness and dropping the weight seems to help it.

I know this thread is old but do any of you guys do high volume chin ups / pull ups. I got a pull up bar 18 months ago and do lots of pull ups. For instance I couldn't get to the gym on Fri afternoon so did 10 sets of 10 (plus an extra 6 for good measure). I do this quite often. I feel I've benefitted both in back width and functional strength. I often pyramid up and down for a total of 55 (6,7,8,9,10, 5,4,3,2,1). The best I've managed, although the reps probably wouldn't have passed by military standards, was 10 sets of 15. Most I've done is 30 but again I'm sure there were a few dubious looking reps in there. I love having a piece of equipment in my garage where I can play around for an hour rather than doing conventional training/reps and sets.

Sounds like a plan to me mate. If you can't get to a gym that's still an effective back sesh for sure and will take you a long way. In my mind we are built to execute and improve at pull ups. The full body synergy brings on so many things.

And that's massive reps too!
