Cracking lifting pal,  Cool

- your spinal erectors are strong, to me it looks like your back yanks the weight of the floor then the leg drive kicks in.

Cheers Alex, my form is still poo though I really need to start lifting in one fluid movement. My traps always feel like they've had a right good workout after deadlifts whilst the rest of my back generally feels ok Huh

Starting to get back into some good form though and will hopefully get a little bit closer to the magical 300 come next year Smiley

Thanks Dean Smiley

James, I hit 285 at last years Brit singles and attempted a 292.5 (4th attempt) but only got it to my knees, but was happy to get it off the floor to be honest. The MPF WR was 291 so thought I'd give it a go.
Scary to think I opened on 270 and then 277.5 so was hardly fresh for my 285 or 292.5, thought it was a sign of things to come but lost my way a little after this and have struggled to get my form back but seem to be getting back to near where I was. Are you planning a return mate?

Cheers Felix Smiley

Bloody hell Col.

I think you and Jamie are the only ones on here who will rep this.
Though I reckon a few on here could get a rep or two.

Glen and Bully to start with.

I would love to mate i had a hernia opp a couple of years ago so i havent really gone back to the heavy stuff due to that.
You seem to have got stronger and stronger what are you weighing were you under 90 kg when you pulled 285 that is Awsome mate.
5 reps with 240 is Awsome i once tripled 250 a week before the 2008 bdfpa finals. Watching you Jamie and Glen pulling these weights is tempting me to start a little cycle Smiley

Sorry to hear about your injuries pal, I'm sure if you will get back to the heavy stuff in time. I pretty much weigh bang on 90kg all the time give or take a kilo or two, so never have any difficulties making the 90kg weight limit. Was around 89kg on my 285 pull.
Sounds like we were are about equal, I've trippled 255 and doulbed 262.5 in the gym,and that produced a 280+ plus comp lift.

I take you'll be knocking about at Lee Kemps powerlifting/ wrestling comp in December?

You'll need a lot more than a few deadlifts before you manage that Jamesey Boy!!!
