That could be Sven who went to the World Athletics Championships last year with the German Relay Squad. He has a best of 10.19sec and 20.93sec for the 100m and 200m respectively.Recently hang cleaned 160kg and close to 165kg at around 88kg bodyweight/1.90m Height. He is running the 200m for the German National team against GB/USA/COMMONWEALTH next weekend .(Its on TV I believe)
Lifts really hard in training and also jumps and runs/sprints in parrallel.Trained with us now for the 3rd year.Only person to have jumped 8 steps at a time in our stand at Kings Park.Even our 25foot.7.62m long jumpers cannot match that.
Entries have closed with 75 entries for the S.C.Southern Counties Powerlifting.Includes 13 ladies. We also have 33 entries for the Weightlifting on the Saturday.More information to follow.

Always a challenge trying to encourage a lot of lifters to compete and then doing your best to make their competition experience worth while. We have a very large entry and anticipate running ALL the Ladies weight classes and also  the lightweight Men up to  75kg bodyweight right through their 3 lifts-Squat-Bench-Deadlift on two platforms during the first 3 hours approx. This should enable the 82.5KG men and above to start squatting by 2pm (give or take half an hour). This is necessary to ensure we have referees and spotters and loaders available to run both platforms properly.
Weigh in arrangements remain exactly the same as published. Each lifter will be introduced and will lift as the only focus of attention from the crowd by us only using one MC.Lift big will be present selling just about everything that the lifter requires.Food and drink will be available throughout the day.Plenty of room for spectators .All welcome.
                          See you all there.
                                                                Regards,
