Sounds like you all had a great time guys. Good video to watch too.

If anyone's organising a Northern meet I know of a few decent gyms in the Greater Manchester area. Depending on time of day I might even be able to get the keys to one of the gyms and we'll have the place to ourselves  Smiley

Well what a fantastic day that was. It was great meeting you all, although some very briefly, you are all top genuine guys. I can confirm I have chosen the correct sport! Everyone is helpful. I felt the day went too quick, I would have liked to have more opportunity to talk to everyone more individually but there will be other times for that!

I trained with zid well what can I say- fearless! He was squatting 180kg with good form and depth easily (he did chicken out after 3 reps but could have got 5 haha). I feel like a little girl for wimping out on the leg press and ruining the intensity but for some strange reason I have been getting migraines In the gym since Saturday. I trained chest yesterday and had a light migraine picking up 27.5kgs. I had to go light and train with more volume. I think it may be my breathing but either way I am going to docs about it as it is rather worrying and restricting me to have a hard sesh.

Very impressed with everyone to be honest, matts physique, clints condition, bullys legs and so on. Loved the steak, good choice.

Thanks Pete for arranging it! Hopefully see most of you at the yorkshire!!!

I too have been getting headaches since my trip to Area 51 at the weekend.....have you been having strange dreams too, about a wierd shaped mountain and bright lights..?

ha ha, Area 51, bright lights, aliens right?! Oh, hilarious. How I am laughing. Seriously mate, was slightly funny the first time, now why not just pack it in. Why would you want to come along and piss all over our parade? We did something we all enjoyed and do not need you coming here shitting all over this thread and our journals.

Come on man, if you want to contribute, do so but without the twattish comments huh

Oh Seb, you are too kind. Although you fagged out on the leg press, you done great in the rack. Its been renamed “Iraq” because after people saw us in there, they know it’s a dangerous place! Cool

Great to see everyone and hopefully see most of you at Body Power. I will be the guy wearing a string vest…see if you can spot me in the crowd! Grin

If only every weekend was like the last, Seriously enjoyed myself and great meeting you all. I had a great workout with the tobester who i think will do very well when he decides to take to the stage this year hopefully it will be the BNBF Southern. At the end of the session he displayed his arms that were looking awesome, shame we all live so far apart but hopefully it wont be to long before we can train together again. It was also great seeing Galts who is looking great and was training hard with Matt who is in fantastic shape and in my opinion could stand on stage now hes certainly done his homework and it stands out a mile. Young Seb who is competing this year is going to be awesome watch out the teens, himself and Zid top bloke who i had the pleasure of meeting for the first time were lifting impressive weights whilst training legs and hopefully see you again at the southern mate Smiley. Also fellow training partner Mark, and for those who dont know mark he has done amazing coming down from 19 stone to currently 13 stone over the year hats of to you mate and keep up the good work. Mark Trained with dave who is also a good friend of mine from the island and this day was a good insight for them both to see what its all about and hopefully bring new motivation for them. Then there was the Mighty Oak and The Bull still in complete awe to be honest, i have trained with Pete on many occasions and know how intense he trains, so to see the bar raised by Mark Oakes just shows what the meaning of intensity is all about. One thing that stood out whilst they were training is i never heard a word spoken during there workout it was purely down to business get the job done socialise afterwards. Finally thanks Pete for organising this really appreciate it and hopefully we can all have an off season meet where i dont have to worry about butter in my jacket spuds lol.  Smiley
