Anyone tried making protein bars with strawberry milk protein or unflavoured soy protein?

I have only the strawberry mik protein with true whey and unflavoured soy protein as a nterval shake.

Any recommendations on how to make a nice bar.

I've made some ones before that turned out ok just tasted not the best; Used oats, peanut butter, and natural protein powder (no where near the sweetness of the store bought ones, but I think that is good)

50g porridge oats
30g natural crunchy peanut butter
60g natural honey
8 scoops of whey protein isolate (I use banana flavour and its fine)
40g organic natural cocoa powder
300ml almond milk (or water is ok)

Mix it all up in a bowl with your (clean) hands until consistant. It gets a bit dry but be persistent.

Split into 5 equal sized balls (each about 135g). Form each into bar shapes.

Lick fingers clean..

Sprinkle dessecated coconut onto each and press in a few almond flakes.

Wrap in clingfilm and place into fridge.

Each contains: 309 cal, 33g protein, 29g carb, 17g fat, 6g fibre, 90mg sodium

Dont leave it too many days before eating them because I have known one or two to go mouldy.

here's mine......

200 gms Peanut butter
100 gms butter
100 gms chopped mixed dried fruit I use cherry's, cranberry's, raisin's and blueberry's
100 gms crushed almonds and walnuts
100 gms hulled hemp seed
2 tblsp pure acacia honey
2 tblsp Good oil hemp oil
1 tblsp molasses
1 1/2 - 2 cups of rolled oats

Heat the peanut butter, butter, molasses, honey and oil in a saucepan
add the dry ingredients mix well if it's too runny add the other half cup of oats.
press down firmly into a greased tin and bake for 15-20 mins at 160c or 325f gas mark 3...

This makes loads, but I like mine chunky and chewy so I use a deep pan and cut them into 1 1/2 inch squares.
They aren't overly sweet and they are packed with protein....
Lush..... Cheesy

Sorry guys that's 200g of peanut butter not 400g edited.....  Roll Eyes
