Haha, thanks mate. Let's hope he enjoys the iron like we do  Smiley. I promise I don't do anything too different to what yo do though.

Not a bad session tonight, think ill keep this routine for another week, then modify it a bit.

Lat pull down 3 x 8 reps to the front
Deadlift - will do reps 6,4,1,20 for a while me thinks and see if I can get that 200k. - tonight was building up with various weights to - 140x7 , 160x5, 172.5x2 (still taking it easy to find the right weights hence the extra reps) then 100 x 20. This last set really gets the Hams going.

Ham curls 3x10
DB concentration curls 35 x 8,40 x 8, 35 x 8, 35 x 6
Reverse curls 30k x 10 x 3 sets.
That was it.

Deads took a while for some reason, but rest went by ok. Gym was busy, so a bit of a chat too, done in 60 mins.
Home for PWO informed whey, BCAA, turkish delight

I'm also currently trying the instant bcaa tropical fruits whilst training instead of water and isotonic drink (sip both alternately) for a change to see how I feel.

Mini Shredder Grin

I find the simpler the plan the better really. Just basic and heavy. Like you do.

I think you will like the BCAA during the workout. I find they really help with not feeling so sore and make a nice change from water

He even has the T shirt  Grin

Yes mate, I have really got into BCAA's the last couple of years, and I put some of my progress down to them. As you say, makes a change to water, as I have to alternate my water to the isotonic drink as I find them too strong on its own.

I'm sure Bulkpowders do an intra workout drink which might cover your bases for your bcaa and isotonic needs.

I currently use the BP Instant BCAA's - mixed berries, which I like, as the taste isn't too strong.  The main reason for the Isotonic drinks were to give a bit of taste, as water alone leaves a 'dry' taste in my mouth when I'm panting hard!
