One aim in mind today to beat my pb squat
I went for a 6 mile cycle ride early this morning
Beautiful sunshine
Then into the gym early afternoon
Warm up
Then onto empty bar squats
1 rep 60 kg
 2 reps 90 kg
1 rep 100 kg

Then onto my new pb  of 110 kg
Yes I did 2 reps with relative ease
Rested then did two more reps
Yes I did it
Then a 30 kg flat dumbell press  the heaviest Iíve done since my arm
Injury
A great week as itís my heaviest work out week achieved since taking up weight training
Plus an hours swim in the evening

Ive now done an hours cycle ride
An hours swim
And an hours run/walk in the last 24 hours
Plus the gym
Little to eat and Iíve put on weight Huh??

Warm up treadmill
Then
As heavy as I could for singles on the chest press machine
Got to the 100 plate
Then doubles of 85  plate for 5 x 2 reps TIL failure
Flat dumbell bench presses
20 kg warm ups
26 kg for 5 x 5
22 kg reps TIL failure
Iím going to max out on each exercise  as much as I can this week
So low reps/ volume but to failure rather than high reppy stuff
Home easy bar  32 k bi curls 5 x 10 reps
25 rep straight bar wrist curls and dumbell hammer curls and wrist curls

Happy birthday  ...should be a day of celebration but
It wonít be ...I donít like  my birthdays in the best of years
But with so much anxiety  and apprehension  Iím having trouble coping with and hoping for better news that never comes
This year il be pushing as much weight as I can in the gym as an escape
Iím going to beat my pb squat again  Iíve been trying to post a vid of my last one but I cannot seem to get it to upload

Yes I did my birthday new pb squat
For 2 reps
Warm up treadmill 15 mins
Warm up squats of 1 x 60 kg
1 x 90 k
2 x 110
Kgs
Then 2 of 112.5 kgs
Wow new pb
Chest press machine of 100 plate working back down until failure
Heavy 30 kg
Dumbell shoulder shrugs
Heavy dumbell cross chest hammer curls
Home free weights

Little sleep yesterday and busy at work had caught up with me today feeling somewhat ragged
and light headed
So Iím not doing any weights today and just carb loading a little
Seemed to put on 3 lb in weight since yesterday must be water retention from a birthday pizza and a slice of cream cake

Ive slept for nearly 16 hours in the last 24 hours was so out of sorts
Today I feel a lot better a little lethargic but ok
Letís get going again
Food  gym  a bet and cinema  with swimming later plus home bi curls
Hit the gym again for heavy for me session
Low reps and heavy
15 mins treadmill warm up
Squats empty bar
1 x 60 kg
1 x 90 kg
Then 2 /3/5/4/5 of 102.5 kg
Then 1 of 107.5
Warm up flat dumbell presses
Then back on the 30 kgs dumbell for 5/3/3/3
This is the most and heaviest Iíve done since injuring my arm
Wow Iím coming back
Then to finish the week with full stack seated cable rows
A good week and a change from my previous reps stuff

Iíve got a tough 10k run next Sunday the brighton trailblazer
So it will be mainly a lighter deload workout week
As the last few weeks have been heavier with low reps
Out this morning for a 3 mile bike ride half being a steepish steady climb up to
woodingdean
Home heavy straight bar bi curls every half to 1 hour intervals

Our 30th wedding annerversary today
Hot went for a walk into town and back to buy some flowers
Then into the gym for as time was limited today
Just legs
15 mins treadmill
Warm up squats
1 x 60 kg
2 x 90 kg
2x2x2x2 of 105 kgs 3 mins rest between each set
3 of 107.5 kgs
Then out for dinner
Saved my calories today for the
Fish and chips and champagne
Wow great feed up plenty of carbs and fat
Low on protein today but hey it was a good feed

Itís my daughters birthaday today so  the diet is on hold
Gym time is short so bike ride over the dirt hills to the gym
A few heavy squats
Then heavy flat dumbell 30 kg bench presses
to failure  then drop setting to failure
A big plate of Chinese food yummy

Family and friends coming over today alway a busy week this week with three family dates in it
So really cannot do my things so to speak
Just a few home freeweights flies for now but maybe I can fit a few curls in later
Weight has gone up to 13st 2 lb today
Iíve put on 4 lb in 4 days seems a lot as Iíve be saving calories for the celebration meal so calories high they were not excessive and not hitting nowhere near a 35000 plus increase on my daily 2200 calories

My anxiety was somewhat high today not sure why thou
I went on to break my front tooth thatís my second one gone I look like a rabbit now
Thatís great I didnít deserve that thatís done a lot for my confidence now
Brill things just go from bad to worse
