It seems like my cold has come back felt chesty and sneezing and coughing again So only did home Light barbell upper workout at home Saturday Eating to maintain strength and help push out my cold with little stress

I’m so tired I actually slept for 7 hours But awoke still totally zonked out I seem to ache in every part of my body Not Dom’s but a real bone type ache This cold or what ever it is has realy got to me at the moment

Back in the gym after a few days off Felt tight and stressed had a few carbs and an energy drink earlier Today it will be just two exercises today First Warm up squats then heavy box squats to 138 kgs 5x5s Then onto dumbell bench presses Warm up then as many as I could get at 30 kgs and then down in weights for as many as I could get Left the gym with a slight headache that got a little worse at home Need some more sleep today as work is tiring me out a lot that’s days Maybe it’s time to quit the night work I’ve been doing it for 21 years now

Today after my squats 2 x 5 of 138 kgs I concentrated on shoulders Starting with moderate weight decline dumbell presses Then onto heavy flat dumbell presses supersetting downwards Then onto seated overhead dumbell presses I’ve never been good at these movements due to mobility and injury there but I’m going to work on this movement this year So a new pb ensued of 22kg dumbells for 5 then onto a one rep max of 24 kg Light mobility exercises and onto full stack cable rows Pull downs and cable upright rows Finishing with decline 60 kg barbell bench Home freeweights and a run

The snow stopped me going to the gym today So just did home light freeweights and 2 k on my cross trainer

A 6 mile run out in the cold today Some light home freeweights And mobility work on my injured shoulder It’s almost back now strength has returned a few twinges on stretching right out

I sneaked a gym session in today to make up for missing a session or two due to the snow I think other people had the same idea as the gym was a little busy But I got a squat session in Light warm ups Then sets of 10 reps of box squats of 138 kgs And then onto bench dumbell presses Worked my way down from 30 kgs reps to failure to the 18 kgs dumbells A nice sneaked in session

5x10reps of 60kg squats Then onto 1 set of 5 x 30kg flat bench dumbell presses Followed by cable rope pull downs 5 sets The overhead rope extensions 5 sets And finished off with cable full stack pull downs

Eat to much fat in one sitting today it made me a bit sick Should not have mixed coconut oil butter and olive oil with my fatty chicken So no training today I just went and got 7 hours sleep instead

I’m looking to crack at lest one of my pb’s tomorrow So as I had something to do today I just did a few light floor presses With my home dumbells then when I tried to sleep next door were making a lot of noise so I did not sleep at all again and I’m working tonight

Yesterday I did only dumbell bench variations After light cable warm up First heavy flat bench 30 kg to failure then weights down to failure Decline bench to failure And then incline dumbells to failure A bad nights sleep once again Hands got numb every time I fell asleep which woke me up all the time Short vivid dreams and a heavy chest feeling with hearing my pulse in my ears every time I lay down

I’m going back to the push pull legs routine for a couple of weeks just to mix things up a bit and to make sure I get a workout in as the gym is busy now with newbies Warm up treadmill Then leg extension machine Light squats Barbell rows Barbell deads Roll outs Dumbell rows Flies Lat raises and front raises Finishing with the lat pull down machine A workout that I actually enjoyed today

Push day Some warm up squats then a few heavy box squats Onto dumbell bench flat And decline until failure then moved down to failure Machine chest pres and overhead press machine A few empty overhead barbell presses Cable bi curls and
