After a bit of a carb refeed yesterday I was surprised to see my ketone level was  0.4 mm
Which was great
So today I took in around 50 grams of carbs so I will see tomorrow wether my levels have gone down
Today I rested up and did nothing at all
Iím fasting until the morning then il hit the road for a run

A short push workout
Dumbell presses
And machine chest press
Itís my wifeís birthday today so

It is interesting to see Eggy you can still go for runs with next to no carbs, I can barely function without carbs so I always keep them quite high compared to a lot of people.

Cheers felix
I do not feel any difference running on low carbs compared to  being carb loaded
But as Iíve not run a race  only training runs as such in keto it will be interesting to see
how I fare in the brighton half marathon on Sunday
If I feel it went well I will plan to run the full brighton marathon in the same state
No training today a I want to get some sleep before I hit the gym in the morning and a short run tomorrow afternoon
I was short of sleep yesterday and struggled through work last night so I feel I m need of some
Recovery
Cheers eggy

Yesterday was just very ligt home freeweights and a quick fast paced 5 k run
Today top and bottom session
30 mins treadmill
Some very light 20 kg squats
Then for my push session was
Just barbell  standing overhead presses for a few sets
To 55 kgs
That was it for today as the half marathon is just 2 days away now
Carbs was re- introduced and straight away I feels bloated
This morning Iím up 2 lb in weight Iím not sure carbs actually agree with me or not
I feel a bit sluggish and not really pumped after my gym session
even with a preworkout out
Do carbs really matter that much ?

Today was recovery day
Feeling a little tired and a slight achy legs
But the heavy squats of recent months have really helped with leg recovery
15 mins on the static bike and a few light sets of dumbells
Just to pump some blood into the areas a few carbs lots of protein and Iím good to go
Now a 10 hour fast before getting back to lowcarbs again
