Back into the gym
Eat a few carbs and drink so fluids
Still feeling a little off colour a ground ache Iíve had is now subsiding
Shoulders tense but ok
Today I did top and tails
Overhead presses followed by squats
40kg x 5      40kg x 5
50kg x 5      50kg x 5
60kg x 2      60kg x 5
62.5kg x 1   62.5kg x 5
62.5kg x 1    67kg x 5
60kg x 1        70 kg x 5
60kg x 1       80kg x 5
100kg x 3     40kg x 5
Calf raises standing barbell
80kg x 25
90kg x 15
100kg x 10
Rope tri pull downs
2x 25 reps 20 kg
And 5x5  seated incline presses
5x5 40 kg

10 mins treadmill to finish

Today was a bit of a non starter
Slept on and off during the day
Felt off colour again
So no training whatsoever  today
I need to recoup a little I think

Feeling better today
Hit the gym for a mixed bag
Over head press
Warm up hit 65kg for 1
Then 7 singles of 62.5 kg
60 kg for 2
Then 50 kg for 7 reps
Squats were next
Full depth 50 kg for 5
Then 90kg for 3
Onto high box squats
Up to 137.5kg for 20 reps
Then a new pb of 140kg for 5 on
the high box
Dumbell rear flies up to the 30 kg dumbells
Light assistance bar work to finish
Home cardio

Heavy partial time under tension type reps

Today was a rest day
I feel I need to take more rest days to recover as I donít sleep to well
My progress is obviously stifffled by my lack of sleep
So just resting more my be the answer
I  Feel with my gym work I should be making better growth but Iím not
I pushing more weight now than I ever had yet my size of muscle even with a bill does not increase
Anyway I feel better now than I have all week my groin ache has now subsided
Yet have a slight twinge in my shoulder again

25 mins treadmill
Leg extensions
Then heavy negatives leg extensions
Seated hammy curls
10 mins uphill treadmill fast pace

Tried overhead pressing today but failed
Due to shoulder hurting a little and wrists still hurt
So 40 mins cardio
And some leg work
And a bit of back cable work

Due to a heavy work load and general noise and being so hot Iíve slept little over the past couple of days
I thought I needed a rest day
My recoup seems to be slow going
And Im feeling run down blood pressure was 145/107
Despite being on blood pressure meds
So I hit the sheets after
A few home light band work
Slept for 3 hours after trying to sleep for 2 hours
Got up , then returned to bed for another 3 hours
Feeling a little ragged but perked up a bit after a shower and a red bull

Overhead press.     Squat

Wow I feel really jaded at the moment
Iíve had fewer gym sessions this week I did not go today or done any training
My blood pressure was up a little again today
I feel achy all over and in need of some prolonged sleep
Slept only 4 hours interrupted sleep last night
Went out for a few hours this morning in the fresh country air
Fishing
So hopefully I will get some relaxation now
Have I been over doing the weights?

Feeling at a bit of a low right now
I just cannot sleep more than 2 hours again no matter how hard I try
I can literally try to get 6 hours and it takes me 4 hours to fall asleep then
I fall into a fit fall to hours restless sleep
Iím trying to push my training up a level going higher
In weights and less reps
My strength is good right now
But am I loosing out on muscle recover and therefore
Better gains than Iím getting ?
