A nice post workout feeling in my shoulders and upper arms today
A great reward for a good 3 days in the gym
Slept for a few hours this morning
Today will be just a home
light band type workout and some food

Feeling a little stuffed today
Birthday cake and fish and chips all went down very nicely
Probley the most calories Iíve eaten in awhile
Legs holding up well after yesterdayís leg session timed well
With the extra calories
Hit the gym
A real non starter on overhead presses 3 singles of
60k before failing
So onto
Decline bench
Close grip and shoulder width for reps
2 sets of rope tri pull downs
A few reps of machine pecs

A short session today
As a delivery, the  boiler man and cinema and a much needed
Shopping trip used most of the day up
But hit heavy seated bi cable curls as heavy as I could go using my assist plate
Makes a big difference to the weight I can handle and takes out any cheating
Then just 30 k dumbell bench presses
And some advice giving to a newbie

A rest day
As I have two races in 3 days at the weekend So my legs will take a bashing then
So a feed up day and rest
Tomorrrow will be a very light stretch day
Iíve been out for a big fry up breakfast protein and fat overload
And out tonight for some carp fishing

I had to go and collect my race pack for the 5.30 am run tomorrow morning
So some food and a few light band work reps
will be it today
Some well needed sleep is in order

Iím up and ready to go for a 5.30 am race
around the tourists sites of brighton
Itís only a 5k s should be done in about 30 mins
Race completed inside 29 mins
Crowded race through very narrow streets dodging bins and shop window cleaner vans in the centre of town pleasant race and a nice finishers medal as well
A shortest gym session
Shoulders and chest
Overhead barbell presses
Heavy singles to 65k
Trying to keep the stress of my legs as I have a tough 10k on Sunday
Slight angled incline  dumbell bench presses heavy to failure 30k
Cable standing rows
Full stack plus 2 k  dumbell new pb
Full stack plus 4 k dumbell new pb

Back to work tonight after a week off
So taking it easy today as running a tough 10k off road run tomorrow
Itís been a good week heavy on junk food
Short but heavy gym sessions and two runs
Back to it on monday
