Building strength and size on the Paleo Diet

Hi guys.
Just wondered if any of you had any experience of training whilst using the Paleo diet or something similar.
I need a structured eating plan with strict rules or I won't eat healthily. This plan seems to be right up my street.
Do you think it is possible to gain strength and muscle whilst following these 'rules'
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.

John - I have Crohns - and I don't eat any processed foods - unless you can call my local butchers chicken and turkey processed (which it probably is)
OK it combats many side afects and puts the disease into remission - BUT this means any processed foods - no alcohol, no rice, pasta, bread - cakes, buns, biscuits etc - I used to eat ice cream on Saturday nights until recently - but even that has gone now. Also there is a debate out over Tuna - as it grows slowly and takes on th erubbisdh in the oceans - so I tend to look at pilchards or sardines (meoww)
My take - if you don't need to - then don't. It is onerous, a pain in the ass and bloody boring - cause I never bother to make the food taste good via natural sources! I use a lot of diced chillis and sweet peppers - but that soon becomes bland and incipid
On the upside - I tend never to go far from the photo on this blog!
