Does anyone know if the WSM 2014 is being televised this year?

world masters are on channel five at 7pm on 12th.

Considering channel five had last years and just had UKs strongest on I would presume its going to be channel five again

It will be. It's happened and I know the result unfortunately, though saying that I can't remember for sure, but it'll be on tv.

Yeah flick the UKs always seem a bit odd to me. Different format, none of the big names apart from Eddie Hall. Slightly lower standard. Just not the same.

But Eddie Hall is very good. Fantastic overhead. Bit of a way off of the WSM chaps, but on his way up slowly. He is only young and improving a lot.

mon I think you underestimate Eddie Hall. Considering WSM happened back in march/april of this year and how well he did.

also add to the fact at the giants live in England he broke/equalled the world strongman deadlift record if it wasn't for a silly technical fault. static strength he is probably top three in the world.

he needs to improve on the moving events but he id improving at a rapid pace as seen by him winning uk and Britains strongest man this year. seeing his 207kg strict log press and his 460kg deadlift he is on track for being a dominant force in strongman I feel

Glen is spot on about eddie ,over the last year he must be one of the most improved strongmen.i would not be suprised if he finishes on the podium in the next wsm

Woo-hoo!

Agree about Eddie, very srong in static events.  Needs to improve his flexability a bit though, but young enough to progress.  I like Graham too, but waay too short to get anywhere.  Undecided

That's what I meant. I did big him up I just said there is a few places he needs to fill gaps to catch up fully with the top. But he IS improving fast and is young. I didn't know about those records either. Amazing lifts.

I did some work too...
Giants Live are on occasionally now on eurosport.
The world masters is on this Friday. Can't remember the channel, worth searching the word world on sky or virgin and its there.
And now we know the main finals are on 22nd onwards.

Awesome.
