Thanks all, it really took me by surprise.

I'm back now from Spain and the funeral. Whilst I was out there I was still undecided about the Brits but someone kind of made my mind up for me.
Whilst we were at his wake, this man came up to me and introduced himself. He knew my brother and went on to tell me a story about this one day when my brother took a copy of The Beef Magazine that I was in. The man said he was so proud and literally showed everyone in the bar his little sister  Smiley  Cool When he told me that story I kinda felt like I should carry on, if only to try to make another copy of The Beef, just for him  Cool

I didn't drink while I was away and stayed sensible with my food, just incase. I didn't train, or do cardio; in fact I've probably only done about 4 CV sessions over the past 2 weeks since he died. My body seems to be thanking me for it. I'm currently 3kgs down on my Brits weight (which was my target) and I definitely look different, so I kind of want to show off my hard work  Smiley I don't know how competitive it will be, but I'm just proud of what I've achieved  Cool

Hey Flick, somehow I managed to miss all of this - so sorry to hear your sad news.  Makes you think twice about how we all live.
Glad you got back ok and you managed to hold yourself together physique wise.  Heart warming hearing the Beef magazine story  Smiley

Oh jeez Flick I am so sorry, I too missed this as had been only surface flicking through the forum.

I hope the funeral went as well as things can and gave your brother the send off that I am sure he deserved.
