So been chipping away week in week out,

last night was Pull:

Pull ups bodyweight x4, into assisted x12 - 3 sets

Superset:
Lat pull down 50kgs x 10, 50kg x 10   ---- pull ups and lat pull down are my worst!
Rear Delts machine 4"x12 4"x12,

Single arm Cable lat pull 8"x12, 8"x12, 8.5"x12, 9"x12
Rear Delts machine 4"x12 5"x12, 5"x12

Single arm DB Row 35kgx12, 35kgx12, 40kgx12

Superset
deadlifts 110x10, 150x5, 150x5, 160x5, 170x3, 180x1 - drop - 110kgx10, 60kgx10
V Bar Row 15"x12, 15"x12, 15"x12, 15"x12,

Superset
Seated DB Curl 15kgx8, 15kgx8, 15kgx8,
Standing EZ bar curl 30kgx8, 30kgx8, 30kgx8

15mins cardio - Interval running on incline

I really struggle with lat pull down and pull ups, I find my right if always working harder so I drop weight and do concentration, but can never go heavy equally. I also know I have unbalanced lats which I've mainly focused on single arm this off season... so frustrating!

Anyone done Tough Mudder before... got that in May! god help me so unfit ha!

My cousin is doing Tough Mudder as his stag do. My brother in law is part of the stag group. He's done no training at all and doesn't run. :-/

Getting married myself next year not sure that will be on the stag do menu!

Yeah planning on the NPA Midlands again and may do the UKDFBA central, dieting alot smarter this year from last years learning.
Wanted to do this year as above I'm getting married next year in May so not planning to compete in 2017...

Leg Day today...

So thought I'd share how I now do my squats, I found I was never going deep enough or to the same point so worked out a weird and wonderful way of doing it,
Basically using a marker on the floor in my case a bottle so every time I went down to the same point, had to do the inevitable and painfully drop the weight so repping 80kg(now90) and heavy sets only 120 where as I hit 160 at one time this is when I realised my form wasnt good enough! Photos below to make help explain.

The workout:
5mins warm up on bike,

Squats, 20kgx20, 60x12, (warm up sets) 80x12, 80x12, 90x12, 90x12, 120x6, 120x7 drop 60x12

Superset
Leg Ext 35kgx10, 35x12, 35x12
Leg curl 30x12, 30x12, 30x12

Superset
Leg Abductors out 80kg x12, 80x12,
Leg Abductors In  80x12, 80x12

Superset
Calves on leg press 120kgx12, 120x12, 120x12
Seated Calves 50kg x12 50x11 50x12

13mins cardio on bike intense,

Thanks all, feel free to let me know your thought.....

Good to see that you've pencilled in a couple of competition dates.  You did a great job at the Midlands last year.  Will you be entered a weight category this year?
