Cajun Tuna fish cakes


makes 2 Tuna patties

40 grams oat flour

1 whole egg

1 can of Tuna

Cajun seasoning to taste


1.crack your egg into a bowl and whisk until yolk is combined with the egg white
2.add your can of tuna to the egg and stir until mixed evenly
3.combine your seasoning with the oat flour and mix
4.carefully add bit by bit to the mixture until combined
5.get stuck in with your hands and make two even burger shaped patties
6.heat a frying pan with either coconut oil, or light spray and add the patties to the pan, cook both side evenly until cooked throughout
7.serve either wrapped in lettuce leaves, or a burger bun

Used to love making these, quick easy and good protein!

Except mine used to always fall apart lol, although I did just used to get the tuna and make into burgers? Should try with the oat flour, imagine it helps combine it together and not go flaky/break apart.
