hi..i took a one off dead and bench session with a personal trainer today..ooh my..iwas knackered afterwards..

took me through warm ups....to putting my form right ith  little tweeks etc...took me right up to just my below my one rep (163ks)

at 160kgs  with good form I repped it for 5 reps..wow..!

then we went for 170kgs a new pb  ..but I failed and my form went to pot then...so we went to a lower weight to recover my form

tried wraps but did not like the chucky feeling underhand
good session

moved onto bench..im scared of these unless in the cage

he showed me the correct form...totaly different to what ive done upto now..

I tend to do it with a closer grip and underneath the bar pushing above nipple line

he showed me that I need a wider grip..and take the bar lower on the chest and arms pushing at 45% from chest

felt ok but I was shocked that it felt so alien to me

failed at below my one rep max..
good session and has opened up my eyes
