Hey peoples so I started out at 236lbs in 2016 got down to 166lbs (water cut at end) in August 2017 then put on 30lbs by January doing the see food diet Smiley.

Got back down to 179 and looking to slowly put on some strength and size over the next 12 months and optimizing the process I.E Not eating like a tit, I'm just wondering if the whole idea behind eating protein spread out over the day every 3 hours to top up MPS is valid or I should just stick to getting it in by the end of the day like I have been as I have been fasting 16 hours of the day for the past 2 years but doubt that is good for muscle gain.

Like I said just want to optimize the process anyway I can.

Thanks

see attached photo
also should I keep cutting? until I get down to 170lbs perhaps?
I'm 29 years old and 6ft tall

Elevating MPS every 3-4 hours is 'optimal', but at the end of the day (literally) its about the calories and macros being hit.
