I would be interested on a non -biased opinion as mine is very (Vince is a good friend and I may be seeing what I want to see but I thought vince's form was cracking - a bodybuilders bench and not a PL bench - which is scary as if he adopted the PL bench technique he really could shift).

Jay H has shifting some serious weight, I think his 1rm is 220kg!!!

I'm not saying he's not benching fine, I've just read the rules on the challenge board. If it said you gotta bench in red socks, you'd have to bench in red socks. Plus I like Mon.

I've had a look. I've got to say, Vince's bench was pretty low. I can't say beyond reasonable doubt that it didn't touch, but can't confirm it did.

Nigel needs to keep his head down. It'll help.

Low? Yeah, it was low. But we all know what a difference an extra inch can make  Wink.

Screenshot of bottom of rep, typical of all the reps in the set.

Looks to me to be touching chest. He could arguably go lower Ildi but he would then be in danger of bouncing off his chest which would actually give him an advantage. One of the rules is no bouncing!

I would be happy to pass it but Vince needs an account on here to qualify for the leaderboard.

So I hear, Ildi.

But alas, some inches are out of our control. That's why a young man must always perfect his form! Rep cadence and range of motion being key factors.

Well you lot must be eating all your greens because I did 100kg Bench Press Once unassisted and the second lets just say assisted.
My aim in 100kg for a few good reps.

Haven't benched for years since i had a little shoulder niggle. Tried about 6 weeks ago and really enjoyed it, shoulder felt fine. Had another blast tonight at the start of the session, just after a few warm ups.
Think they are ok, form wise. Got a pretty good pump anyway. 13 reps.
