When I heard about Blackwell, I just could not believe it. What idiot allowed this to happen and what fool actually sparred with him?!

Incredible someone sparred him - especially so soon afterwards. Perhaps it was a young kid coerced into it, or a foreign fighter who didn't know him/the injury. Don't know if it's true, but read that Blackwell is back in an induced coma. Doesn't bode well if so.

Rigo Vs Loma would be great - 2 most successful amateurs by far. I think Rigo is probably too small. Also, he tends to bomb commercially as he's so defensive, so it'd be unlikely Arum would make the fight.

In less positive news, Gutknecht that fought Groves is still in a coma, almost 2 weeks after the fight.

Shit - I didn't hear that.  He was a tough guy who took some shots in the last couple of rounds.

Sat having breakfast with it on Youtube behind me. It is hilarious but as much as it is just promo, I loved it and Haye was right most of the way through. When he slammed the Eddie Hearn show, bang on.

I particularly enjoyed the analysis of Jean-Marc Mormeck's career and whether he's undefeated. The rest of the room was completely WTF!

In many respects Bellew has nothing to lose here, but everything to gain.
Not unlike Kel Brook recently, Khan and even to an extent McGregor over in MMA-land, you step up to another weight division, with most up the public opinion regarding the outcome going against you, then simply return back to what you know, in the weight division you know, with your reputation hopefully slightly enhanced for having the balls to do what many others wouldn't regardless of that outcome.
Come what may, he'll come out of this a rich man, with his status as World Cruiserweight Champion still intact. Guess that's what it boils down to these days.

Not necessarily, he could be stripped as he has a mandatory. Also, there aren't really any money fights at Cruiser but there are lots of dangerous fights. They're mostly East European, so limited scope for pre-fight build ups either.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he retires after the Haye fight. Or, if he performs ok, having another fight at heavy against a Chisora/Whyte kinda guy.

I have tickets for the fight. I know it is a bit of a circus but I have always liked Haye and want to see him shut Bellew up.

I am going for third round win

Love this. Sums up the state of boxing right now. except ward kovalev literally no top guys fighting each other. This would never be allowed to happen in MMA!
